Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in an even layer at the bottom of the baking dish.
Spread half of the browned beef mixture over the potatoes.
Drizzle with half of the creamy sauce.
Sprinkle a third of the grated cheddar cheese on top.
Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef mixture, sauce, and another third of the cheddar.
Bake:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil, top with the remaining cheddar cheese, and bake for another 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
